I have created a number of logos, here are a few examples...
Get Bent Metal Works — North Hampton, MA
[Featured in Graphis international publication "Logo Design 5".]
Get Bent Metal Works specializes in restoring and repairing vintage airplanes. The goal was to create a vintage-feeling logo, reminensent of old filling stations signs using a metal hand tool and classic fonts. |

Environment, Science & Art, Inc — Irvine, CA
The goal of esa, inc., a landscape architectural firm, was to create a sustainable balance between natural and human settings by incorporating research-based best practices and future-focused planning into the design of unique environments that enhance health and well-being. Therefore, the goal was to create a forward-looking logo that conveyed balance, harmony, and simplicity. |

z metro — Madison, WI
zmetro.com is a frequently visited blog in Madison, Wisconsin. The idea with this logo was to capture a simple, clean, easy-to-read urban feeling by using modern, stream-lined font. The "z" in the circle is inspired by Berlin S-Bahn (public transit) signs. |

Bob Alf Construction — St Paul, MN
Bob Alf Construction is committed to"green" sustainable building solutions. He needed a logo that reflected this, while also conveying that Bob is a home builder/remodeler. A nice balance between the two was achieved by creating quite literally a "green" house. |

Twin Cities German Immersion School — St. Paul, MN
[Co-created with Michael Winikoff]
The Twin Cities German Immersion School is dedicated to educating children for bilingual, informed and active world citizenship. Therefore, the goal was to create a logo that conveyed a sense of adventure and global awareness. The leaping child illustrates this sense of adventure—leaping effortlessly over the earth. The unique education and international perspective the school provides empowers the children with a global confidence they would not otherwise have. |

The Therese Foundation — Madison, WI
The Therese Foundation is a non-profit that donates funds to various humanitarian organizations. Since the dove signifies peace, gentleness and purity, it was appropriate to create a stylized, elegant representation of one as a logo for this important organization. |
